Preach the Word

Foreign Language Ministry

Learning a language to reach hearts

About Foreign Language Ministry

Many communities have large populations of immigrants and minority language speakers who have little access to the Bible's message in their own tongue. Foreign language groups and congregations are formed to reach them so they can hear the good news in a language that touches their heart.

Whether it's Spanish, Mandarin, Haitian Creole, American Sign Language, or one of hundreds of other languages, learning to preach in a new language makes sure the good news reaches "every nation and tribe and people and tongue" (Rev 14:6).

What to Expect at the Booth

  • Hear from publishers who learned a new language to serve in the foreign language field
  • Find out what language groups in your area are looking for publishers
  • Get advice on how to begin learning a new language for the ministry
  • Discover resources available to help publishers develop language skills

Who This Is For

Any publisher with a heart for reaching people who are often overlooked and the willingness to invest time in learning a new language. You don't need to be fluent to start. Many publishers begin attending foreign language groups while still learning, and their efforts are deeply appreciated.
